The fax must contain the following information: name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, driver`s license, social security number, classification, card number and an up-to-date contribution receipt. After registering the member on the corresponding book, we will send him an e-mail with his placement number on the book. In line with current concerns about COVID-19, we will be hosting a Drive Thru Christmas party for children. Santa Claus will be there to greet and gifts will be offered in front of the building. The recipients of the 2020 scholarship were determined by the PowerForward DuPage Board of Directors and will each receive a $1,500 prize this year. The Social Committee accepts applications for the 2019 Member of the Year. Member of the Year is someone who goes beyond the normal workday. Just write a short essay explaining why he/she should be a member of the year. In late spring next year, the 2021 PowerForward DuPage Scholarship application will be available and several scholarships will be awarded again. Please visit the PowerForward DuPage website under www.PowerForwardDuPage.com under “Members” to view and/or print the 2021 App when it becomes available. The three categories of the scholarship program are: 1) Four-year college scholarships for high school graduates; 2) Two-year scholarships for seniors planning to attend a community college; and 3) Two-year training bonuses for union members or contractors. All offices will be fully operational, but the building will be closed to all but employees.
